I write about the living world and spirit of place in the South West of England. I listen and try to tell the stories of the landscape and the beings who inhabit it, both the human and the more than human. I aim to gather all my work together here on my website, but you can also read it in the Guardian’s Country Diary column, the TLS, on the Dark Mountain blog and publications, and elsewhere. I am also commissioning editor of Hazel Press.
